Introduction to the Executive Committees of the Youth Union and Student Association of the Faculty of Commerce and Tourism

With the aim of further strengthening the Youth Union and Student Association, improving the quality of their activities and promoting the role of young people in academic study, personal development, scientific research and student movements, the Faculty of Commerce and Tourism successfully held the Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Conference on the Consolidation of the Student Association of the Faculty of Commerce and Tourism on May 17, 2026.

This was an important event marking a new phase in the Youth Union and Student Association affairs of the Faculty, while also providing an opportunity to review and evaluate the achievements of the past period and set out key directions and tasks for the next phase. With a spirit of democracy, solidarity, responsibility and innovation, the Congress and the Conference conducted consultations to select outstanding union and association members with strong moral character, organizational capabilities, a high sense of responsibility and a strong desire to contribute to the Executive Committees of the Youth Union and Student Association of the Faculty.

The Executive Committees of the Youth Union and Student Association of the Faculty of Commerce and Tourism comprise outstanding students who represent the voices, aspirations and legitimate rights and interests of union members, association members and students across the Faculty. As the core force in implementing Youth Union and Student Association activities, the Executive Committees also play an important bridging role between students and the Faculty, the University and relevant organizations, contributing to the development of a dynamic, creative and comprehensive environment for study and personal growth.

In the new term, the Executive Committees aim to build increasingly strong, professional and student-oriented Youth Union and Student Association organizations. On this basis, a wide range of innovative and creative programs and activities will be implemented in close alignment with students’ practical needs in the context of digital transformation and international integration. Key areas will include academics, scientific research, professional skills, innovative entrepreneurship, community volunteer activities, culture and the arts, physical education and sports and programs supporting and accompanying students.

In addition to providing meaningful and engaging opportunities, the Executive Committees also aim to create an environment where students can realize their individual potential and develop soft skills, leadership skills, creative thinking and the ability to adapt to the future labor market. This is not only a place where passionate Youth Union and Student Association officers come together, but also an environment where young people can learn, grow and spread positive values to the community.

Embracing the pioneering spirit of youth, the Executive Committees of the Youth Union and Student Association of the Faculty of Commerce and Tourism are committed to building on the achievements of previous generations, continuously innovating, improving the quality of activities and listening to and accompanying students in their studies, personal development and broader growth.

With the motto “Creative – Distinctive – Effective – Sustainable,” the Executive Committees are determined to further develop the student movement of the Faculty of Commerce and Tourism, contributing to strengthening the position and image of UFM students as dynamic, resilient, responsible and driven by a strong desire to contribute.

The Faculty of Commerce and Tourism is pleased to introduce the Executive Committees of the Youth Union and Student Association. The Faculty believes that, with the energy of youth, enthusiasm, a strong sense of responsibility and a desire to contribute, the Executive Committees will continue to serve as a pioneering force in organizing meaningful activities, creating a comprehensive environment for study and personal development and accompanying students on their journey of growth and integration in the new era.
