During the first six months of 2026, the Dream Lighting Club - Faculty of Commerce and Tourism, University of Finance - Marketing, continuously organized various meaningful charity programs, internal activities, and community projects, contributing to the spread of social responsibility, sharing, and human values throughout the community. The activities carried out from the beginning of the year have not only made a practical impact through meaningful figures but have also demonstrated the collective efforts of the Club's members in their journey of community service.

The first activity in the 2026 series was the “Dệt Xuân 2026” program, held in Tan Thanh Ward with the aim of improving the material and spiritual well-being of local residents during the Lunar New Year. As part of the program, the Club had the opportunity to engage with and support more than 200 students from primary schools in the area. Through group games, cultural performances, and community activities, the program brought the children a joyful day filled with laughter and memorable experiences.

In addition to recreational activities, the program also focused on supporting disadvantaged individuals through funds raised from donors and benefactors. A total of 109 scholarships and gifts were presented during the program. Among them, the Club awarded 89 scholarships, each worth VND 300,000, to students facing difficult circumstances, encouraging them to overcome challenges and strive for academic success.

At the same time, the Club installed 15 light bulbs in residential areas, helping improve living conditions and ensure the safety of local residents. The program also donated a waste-sorting station to raise environmental awareness within the community and presented 20 gift packages, each worth VND 500,000, to poor households in the area.

The program brought positive values to the community, contributing to the material and spiritual well-being of children and local residents during the Lunar New Year. The support provided not only addressed practical needs in the area but also demonstrated the spirit of mutual support and the social responsibility of young people toward the community.

Continuing its community-oriented activities, on March 14, 2026, the 12th General Assembly of Members of the Dream Lighting Club was held at the Tan Thuan Campus of the University of Finance – Marketing. With the participation of more than 80 members and former members, the General Assembly provided an opportunity to look back on the Club's past activities, review the achievements of the 12th term, and recognize the contributions of individuals and teams who had accompanied the Club throughout this period.

During the event, reports on the Club's activities and development directions for the new term were presented. The Club's outstanding achievements were also revisited through the projects, programs, and charity activities that had been implemented. The General Assembly was not only a milestone marking the Club's growth but also an opportunity for members across generations to reflect on their journey, inherit its positive values, and continue promoting the traditions of the Dream Lighting Club.

At the conclusion of the General Assembly, the Club officially embarked on a new stage of development with various goals and future directions. Building on its achievements, the Dream Lighting Club will continue to improve the quality of its activities, promote a sense of responsibility, and expand community-oriented programs, contributing to the spread of human values throughout society.

Following the General Assembly, the Club continued its charitable activities with the “Góp Vị Trao Thương” program on April 5, 2026, at Tuong Nguyen Kitchen (79 Nguyen Huu Tho Street, Nha Be Commune, Ho Chi Minh City). At exactly 4:30 a.m., Club members arrived to assist with food preparation, ingredient preparation, and cooking tasks to complete meaningful meals for people facing difficult circumstances.

Nearly 1,000 free meals were distributed to patients and their family members receiving treatment at various medical facilities. Each meal provided not only material support but also a gesture of care and emotional encouragement for those going through difficult times. Nearly 1,000 meals also represented nearly 1,000 wishes for good health and nearly 1,000 expressions of care shared by compassionate volunteers.

The “Góp Vị Trao Thương” program marked the beginning of the Club's charitable activities with practical and meaningful contributions. The results achieved at the end of the program helped reaffirm the importance of charitable activities in connecting communities while continuing to spread the human values that the Dream Lighting Club has always pursued.

Continuing its journey of sharing love, on May 27, 2026, the Dream Lighting Club carried out a medical expense support activity for disadvantaged pediatric patients receiving treatment at Children's Hospital 2 in Ho Chi Minh City as part of the “Giao Em Nắng Hạ 2026” program.

Through funds raised from donors and benefactors, the Club provided a total of VND 6,000,000 in medical expense support for disadvantaged pediatric patients. In addition, the program donated more than 60 bags of diapers to support the children during their treatment and daily activities at the hospital. Although these contributions were not substantial in value, they provided practical assistance, helping ease the financial burden on the children's families and giving the young patients additional encouragement to remain strong throughout their treatment journey.

The “Giao Em Nắng Hạ 2026” activity not only demonstrated the spirit of mutual support and community responsibility among the Club's members but also helped spread the messages of love, sharing, and compassion to the student community and society. Every gift and every financial contribution represented timely encouragement, bringing faith and hope to those facing difficult circumstances.

Throughout the first six months of 2026, every program, gift, and activity implemented by the Dream Lighting Club has represented more than just figures or achievements; they have served as evidence of the collective's sense of responsibility, compassion, and enthusiasm. Building on the positive values that have been nurtured and shared, the Club will continue to strive for innovation and develop increasingly practical and effective charitable activities, contributing to connecting compassionate hearts, spreading love throughout the community, and affirming the role of UFM youth in social service activities.
