[TSUM] The Dream Lighting Club - Introduction to The History, Objectives, Vision, Mission, And Core Values
The Dream Lighting Club (TSUM) was established in 2010 under the Faculty of Commerce and Tourism, University of Finance – Marketing. Over more than 15 years of establishment and development, the Club has continuously affirmed its role as one of the Faculty's outstanding volunteer organizations, becoming a dynamic and meaningful environment for students who are passionate about community service activities.
With the motto “I go, you go, the youth go – I do, you do, the youth do,” the Club always aims to promote the pioneering and volunteer spirit of young people through social welfare activities, support for disadvantaged individuals, and the spread of positive human values throughout the community. Throughout its operation, TSUM has organized and collaborated on various charitable programs, such as supporting disadvantaged pediatric patients, caring for elderly people living alone, organizing Mid-Autumn Festival programs, spring charity programs, community fundraising activities, and activities for children in remote and rural areas.
Not only serving as a bridge connecting compassionate hearts with those in need, the Club also provides an environment for students to develop their skills, grow personally, and cultivate a sense of social responsibility. Through participating in various programs, Club members have opportunities to learn, improve their organizational, teamwork, communication, and time-management skills, while also developing a spirit of sharing and a sense of dedication to the community.
Having gone through 11 terms of operation, with the continuity and contributions of generations of members, the Club has accompanied and supported more than 40 charity shelters and charitable classrooms across various localities. More than 5,100 educational gifts and 900 scholarships have been personally delivered to disadvantaged students, helping provide them with additional motivation on their educational journey. In addition, more than 300 households in remote and rural areas have received visits and practical support through the Club's community programs. Beyond supporting disadvantaged localities, TSUM has also carried out charitable activities in Ho Chi Minh City, distributing more than 1,400 late-night gift packages to homeless people and low-income workers.

Alongside its on-the-ground activities, the Club has continuously expanded its reach through media platforms, with more than 33,000 followers on its official Fanpage. It has also established a network of connections with more than 30 clubs, faculty youth unions, teams, groups, and local organizations, creating extensive connections in community service activities. These figures not only reflect the scale of the Club's activities but also serve as evidence of its persistent journey in spreading love, social responsibility, and the spirit of volunteerism that the Dream Lighting Club has pursued throughout its development.

With the vision of becoming a leading volunteer club at the University of Finance – Marketing, the Dream Lighting Club continuously strives to carry out meaningful programs that contribute to improving the lives of disadvantaged individuals, especially elderly people living alone and underprivileged children. Throughout this journey, the Club carries the mission of rekindling dreams that once seemed to have faded away, spreading love, and awakening social responsibility in every young person through practical actions for the community. Not only a place that connects compassionate hearts, TSUM also provides an environment where students can develop their skills, improve themselves, and learn to live meaningfully through small acts of kindness every day. All of the Club's activities are guided by its core values, including the spirit of volunteerism, family-like unity, creativity and proactiveness in action, as well as responsibility and transparency in organizing and implementing programs. These values serve as the foundation for TSUM to continuously develop, spread positive values, and affirm the role of young people in community service activities.
