The program was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Dao, member of the UFM Party Committee and Vice President of the University; Dr Nguyen Xuan Hiep, Secretary of the Party Cell of the Faculty of Commerce and Tourism; together with all Party members of the Faculty Party Cell, outstanding candidates for Party membership, and other participants. As part of the “Journey to the Roots,” the delegation visited the Nhon Trach Martyrs’ Memorial Temple, where participants were introduced to its historical significance. The delegation also conducted a flower-offering and incense-offering ceremony in commemoration of the heroes and martyrs. The activity provided an opportunity for officials and Party members to reflect on the nation’s revolutionary traditions, uphold the principle of gratitude to previous generations, and strengthen awareness of each Party member’s responsibility to preserve and promote the values inherited from those who came before.

One of the key activities of the program was the New Party Member Admission Ceremony, which was solemnly held within the historically significant setting of the Nhon Trach Martyrs’ Memorial Temple. At the ceremony, Nguyen Xuan Hiep, Secretary of the Party Cell of the Faculty of Commerce and Tourism, announced the decision to admit outstanding candidate Truong Thi Thu Lanh to the Communist Party of Vietnam. In front of the Party flag, the national flag, and the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh, Truong Thi Thu Lanh took the Party membership oath, affirming her determination to continue developing herself, uphold political and ethical standards, and fulfill the responsibilities of a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Following the oath-taking ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hiep, on behalf of the Party Cell Committee, congratulated the new Party member and assigned her the responsibilities associated with the probationary period. He emphasized the importance of continuing to study and develop, demonstrating a pioneering and exemplary spirit, and effectively carrying out assigned duties throughout the probationary period.

On this occasion, Assoc. The presence and encouragement of representatives from the University Party Committee and University leadership reflected the University’s attention to Party membership development within its affiliated Party cells and provided encouragement for the new member to continue striving, developing, and contributing positively to the collective.

In addition to the New Party Member Admission Ceremony, the program also included a preliminary review of the Party Cell’s activities during the first six months of 2026 and the Party Cell meeting for August. These activities provided an opportunity to review the implementation of assigned tasks, strengthen solidarity and cohesion among Party members, and further improve the quality of the Party Cell’s operations.
