On September 26, 2026, at Tan My Campus, University of Finance – Marketing (UFM), the IB Challenge 2026 academic competition concluded an exciting and fierce journey for students majoring in International Business. Directed by the UFM Youth Union – Vietnamese Student Association and organized by the Youth Union of the Faculty of Commerce and Tourism, the competition aimed to provide an environment where students could consolidate their specialized knowledge, hone critical thinking, develop teamwork skills, and enhance practical problem-solving capabilities.
In the realm of international business, academic expertise must be applied flexibly to analyze real-world scenarios, evaluate opportunities, identify risks, and propose viable solutions. Driven by this objective, IB Challenge 2026 was not merely an assessment of academic knowledge; it served as an invaluable platform bridging theory with professional industry practice, fostering logical reasoning, analytical rigor, and resilience under pressure. Throughout each stage, participating teams were required not only to exhibit deep domain knowledge but also to coordinate effectively, select optimal strategies, and defend their arguments persuasively.
Taking place from August 30 to September 26, 2026, the competition attracted 101 teams right from its preliminary stages. Following selective rounds, 20 outstanding teams advanced to tackle comprehensive specialized challenges, culminating in the Top 5 finalists competing head-to-head in the Grand Finale. This journey cultivated a dynamic academic arena, empowering candidates to validate their knowledge, leverage personal strengths, and gain practical industry experience.
